Smart, social, adaptable, prolific - wild boars, the better Europeans? 5,000 of them dig their way through the city of Berlin. Respect!

Yeah, yeah, but what will all this result in?

From May 2008 and for the following 14 months, we are sending out 58 of Europe's best nature photographers to picture the very best of Europe's nature.
The most charismatic places and species of a continent.
These photographers will travel all over Europe – almost all of them to a country other than their own. Every European country will be visited.

Their images, blogs, stories, podcasts and video diaries will then be seen in a number of ways:

• Web site - even bigger, more spectacular and with more interactive content than today.
• Major outdoor exhibitions, touring all 44 European countries 2010-2013
• A major, large-format coffee-table book, in several languages
• Powerful slideshows for all kinds of festivals all over Europe.
• Podcasts, web streams, Youtube films, flash slide shows...
• Indoor exhibitions on tour

Oh, and there might be TV too. Prime-time documentaries.
Maybe even a series...
and quite a few more things...

Again, why make it complicated?
We just want to use the emotional power of great photography to make hundreds of millions of people fall in love with Europe's wild wonders.
